John Legend's Loved01 skincare brand was preparing to launch an exclusive popup store experience. The popup needed to embody the brand's core values of self-love, inclusivity, and accessible luxury while creating an Instagram-worthy environment that would generate organic social media buzz.
Working with creative director Sarah Ivory, we needed to visualize a space that would feel intimate yet impactful, allowing visitors to engage with the products while experiencing the brand story in an immersive setting.
The Solution
We developed comprehensive 3D visualizations that captured the essence of the Loved01 brand identity. Key elements included:
- Warm, inviting color palette reflecting the brand's inclusive philosophy
- Strategic product display zones for each skincare category
- Interactive experience areas for product testing and discovery
- Photo-worthy backdrop installations for social media engagement
The design balanced premium aesthetics with approachability, ensuring the space would resonate with the brand's diverse customer base.
The Results
The renders helped the creative team lock down the design direction and get sign-off from all stakeholders, including the celebrity founder's team, on a compressed timeline. The popup went from approved concept to open doors on schedule, with no design changes required during build-out. Once launched, the Instagrammable design elements that were pre-visualized in the renders generated thousands of user-generated posts, extending the campaign's reach well beyond the physical location and proving the value of designing for social from the start.
